History of the church
Captain of Salvation Ministries was founded by Apostle John Akhigbe Okogua at a prayer meeting in 2014 at 52, Agege Moto Road Moshalashi Alakara Surulere Lagos, At captain of salvation Ministry we are committed to the Revival of Apostolic Signs and Wonders and the unlimited Power of God to deliver to the uttermost.
Prior to 2014, we have operated as a fellowship ( Pre-registration) since january 2006 at Ogunfunmi Street off Akobi Crescent Surulere, Lagos Nigeria.
About Apostle John Okogua
Apostle John Okogua was born in August 27th, 1969 to the family of Late Elder Richard and Mrs. Okogua Igueben Edo State Nigeria.
He is a graduate of Psychology from the University of Ibadan (UI) Nigeria. He is also a graduate of the Institute of Clinical Pastoral Education and Chaplaincy. He gave his life to Christ November 16th, 1993 in New Convenant Assembly Lagos. He answered the call to the ministry September 5th, 1994 in Life Restoration Ministry in Lagos. He also served in Zion Pillar Intercessory Ministry Lagos as the Regional Overseer from 2001 to 2005. He was commissioned to start a new work in January 2006. He started a prayer fellowship which was commissioned by Archbishop Sam Amaga of Salem Christian Center represented by one of his Bishops Segun Aina in Surulere Lagos. He engage in outreaches to both rural and urban cities for crusades. He function in the Apostolic Office to raising world chengers for global impact through prayer and the word of God . He is married to Reverend Mrs. Omonluyi Success Okogua who is also a pastor. They are blessed with children. He is also the founder of CAPTAIN OF SALVATION MINISTRIES .

Monday : Prayer Squad Meeting – 6:30pm
Tuesday : Applied Bible Study / School of Success - 6pm
Thursday : Business and Career delivernce -8am
Saturdays : General Counselliing and deliverance – 9 am
Sundays : Breakthrough Worship – 8am
